Terms of use
The rules, in plain words.

What these terms cover
These terms apply when you create a Sitch Live account or use our research tools, including through an AI assistant such as ChatGPT or Claude. By creating an account or connecting an assistant, you agree to them. If you're a business customer with a signed agreement, that agreement comes first where the two differ.
Your account
- You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
- Give a real email address and keep your password to yourself. You're responsible for what happens under your account, including what assistants you've connected do with it.
- One person per account. Don't share an account or create extra accounts to get around limits.
- You can disconnect an assistant at any time from that assistant's settings, and you can ask us to delete your account by emailing contact@sitchlive.com.
Daily limits
Each account can make a set number of tool requests per day, counted in UTC and reset at midnight UTC. Once you reach it, requests are refused until the reset. We can change the limit, set a different limit for a particular account, or pause an account's access to protect the service. If we introduce paid plans or change what an account includes, we'll tell you before it affects your account.
Fair use
Please don't:
- copy, resell, republish or redistribute our data in bulk, or use it to build a competing data product
- scrape the service, or automate requests beyond normal use of an assistant
- try to get around limits, security or access controls, or access other people's accounts
- use the service for anything unlawful, including market manipulation or trading on information you aren't allowed to use
For bulk data, streams or redistribution rights, talk to us about a data plan.
Not financial advice
Sitch Live gathers news, social posts, filings, trading disclosures and market data for research and monitoring. Nothing we provide, and nothing an assistant says using our tools, is investment, legal or tax advice, or a recommendation to buy or sell anything. Make your own decisions, and talk to a licensed professional if you need advice.
Accuracy and availability
Our data comes from public and third-party sources, and some of it is summarized or classified automatically. It can be late, incomplete or wrong, and AI assistants can misread it. Check important details at the original source before relying on them. We work to keep the service running, but it may be slow, change, or be unavailable at times, and we may add, change or remove tools.
Third-party assistants
When you use our tools through ChatGPT, Claude or another assistant, that provider runs the conversation under its own terms and privacy policy. We aren't responsible for how an assistant uses or presents our data.
Ending access
You can stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, puts the service or other users at risk, or that we're required to close by law. Where it's reasonable, we'll tell you why.
Our responsibility
The service is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent the law allows, we don't give warranties about it and aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for any trading or investment losses, that come from using it. Nothing here limits rights you have under laws that can't be waived.
Your information
Our privacy notice explains what we collect when you have an account and how we use it.
Changes
If we change these terms, we'll update the date above, and for significant changes we'll email account holders before they take effect. Using the service after that means you accept the new terms. Questions? Email contact@sitchlive.com.
